His child-of-origin story begins with his father's alcohol addiction, punctuated with the loss of his younger brother on the streets of San Francisco due to fentanyl. He is committed to breaking barriers in addiction treatment by expanding access to compassionate and evidence-based care.

Dr. Santillano specializes in personalized Medication for Addiction Treatment (MAT) to support mental health recovery. His unwavering mission is to challenge stigma, reduce implicit bias in healthcare, and empower patients and providers with the tools they need for compassionate transformation.
